Luke Wangmann
Luke was always interested in bikes from a young age, with the first bike he learned to ride being a Honda CT70. Luke had several different motocross bikes and started racing when he was 16. Luke raced for 10 years and swapped over to road bikes when his two boys came along. His first road bike was a Suzuki TLR1000, what a ride. One of Luke’s favourite motorcycling memories was visiting the Isle of Mann to check out the TT track. He says there are track open days where they close the streets in the race direction. He says it’s a must-see bucket list item for any rider.
Another favourite memory of Luke’s was when he raced the Finke in 2017 on a Husqvarna FX450, what an achievement! Luke has a commemorative railway spike from the Finke complete with a plaque denoting “I survived Finke”. How awesome is that?
Luke purchased his first Harley, a brand-new Street Bob from us in 2021, a very nice ride. Luke is currently undertaking a motorcycle mechanic apprenticeship with us, he says it’s something he always wanted to do in life but the timing never presented itself until now. We love hiring mature-aged apprentices like Luke, they always have a lot to offer, and Luke is no exception. Luke really enjoys being part of the Bundy HD team. He says it’s a great environment with good people and he feels really accepted here. One of Luke’s favourite parts of his job is that he gets to ride everything he works on, he says getting paid to ride bikes is pretty awesome. Luke always says he is living the dream, and we just can’t get enough of Luke’s enthusiasm. He shows up to work every day prepared to work hard, with a massive smile on his face. His energy is infectious. We’re so glad to have you here Luke!
